The Canadian Society for Critical Animal Studies (C-CAS) is society for critical animal studies scholars and animal activists that meets biannually in a Canadian city. Formally called the North American Association for Critical Animal Studies (NAACAS), we held previous meetings in Toronto (2022) and Edmonton (2025).

Our 2026 meeting will take place in Montreal in August on the topic of Wild Animals. A call for abstracts is coming soon.
